A Luxury Cabin Experience Steps from El Dorado Beach
Welcome to Famous Cabin—a beautifully reimagined luxury vacation home in one of South Lake Tahoe’s most sought-after locations, directly across from Lakeview Commons and El Dorado Beach. Whether you’re here for a weekend, a season, or a year, our goal is to create the kind of experience your family and friends will talk about for years to come.
Since 2008, this one-of-a-kind home has been owned and lovingly cared for by our family. In 2015, we completed a top-to-bottom transformation, turning it into a five-bedroom, four-bathroom retreat with 2,748 square feet of elevated Tahoe living. With three spacious levels, two separate living areas, and space for comfortable sleeping and dining for a family of 12, the home is designed for both relaxation and adventure.
This home accommodates up to 12 guests in total, with a maximum of 10 adults (per City regulations). Children under 13 are welcome within the 12-person total. Maximum parking allowed is 3 cars.

Kids’ Paradise: The third-floor loft bedroom includes two queen beds, a foosball table, and an HDTV—a favorite hangout for younger guests.

The cabin offers five comfortable bedrooms, including the third-floor loft bedroom, and four bathrooms finished with artisan copper sinks and marble/travertine details. The layout is designed to give families and groups both gathering spaces and private retreats across three levels.
